PATTERN: ACCENTURE PAPER ON 8th MARCH AT NEW DELHI (WRITTEN,GD,HR,TECH) HI, friend ACCENTURE conducted a campus drive in our college i.e. Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology on 8th March 2008(Exclusively for our college). Well 244 students sat for the examination process, it was one of the smoothest selection processes conducted by Meritrac. It consisted of 4 rounds as discuss below. WRITTEN EXAM : The test consisted of 55 question to be done in 60 mins. It had three sections i.e. Verbal ability, logical reasoning, and mathematical ability. All the questions were very easy. U just need to have good speed to clear the exam. There was no negative marking. So attempt all questions. The paper was very easy. After 1 hour got completed, we were given a topic on which we had write an essay of approx 100-150 words in 10 mins. The topic of essay was “IMPACT OF IT ON INDIA”. Beware this essay may be evaluated in ur HR interview. Try to write it in good handwriting. After 1 hour or so result was announced. 122 students out of 244 got selected and immediately after that we were divided in groups and sent for GD round.. GROUP DISCUSSION : Well I must tell u that I didn’t had I had a kind of extempore instead. All of us were given a topic on which we had to speak for 1 min. Then after all have completed speaking we were told to contradict others or to give a conclusion. Recruitment process consisted of 1. aptitude test 2. g.d [1 year back there was no g.d} 3. H.R interview 4. Tech interview aptitude TEST: Written Test Consist of 55 question to be answered in 1 Hr. & 5 minutes for a short ESSAY on a given topic. the topic for my batch was impact of modernization in India. The exam was conducted in different batches. for g.d they short listed a large no of people. for eg they short listed 20 for GD from 48 from the hall I was took the test- these nos are correct II ) GROUP DISCUSSION each group 15 people. from my group only 3 got selected for the H.R interview from all groups they selected 3 maximum 4-thats what people who took the tests earlier that day told. GD Topic for my group was Is GD necessary for selection process? don’t fight, but you have to dominate the group say as much as you know about the topic just saying something wont do . Paper: Accenture Placement Paper Pattern Held On 7th April 2007 At Noida (Interview) Round 1: Non Technical Written (55 ques 60 mins) a)Aptitude: damn easy .. hd abt 20 ques .. very easy is d word.. keep d speed .. leave d question d moment u feel u want b able to do it .. just attempt what u know and be confident b)English: Again very simple .. 2 passages .. 1 ws on US shrimp imports .. this was a bit tough to comprehend .. d 2nd one was on ATM’s .. very easy c)Reasoning: simple question of + replaced wid /, – wid * then compute d value of say 2+3-7=2/3*7 .. bt remember that there were these 3 question where u were suppose to find d correct option out of 4 2+5*6 etc .. dnt attempt it .. it will b a waste of tym.. jst choose 1 option and tick it blankly d)4 probability question .. easy ones as i was told .. i cdnt solve them make sure u have speed+accuracy .. d cutoff was abt 45 correct attempts .. don’t go haywire ticking d same option in a line .. it want help Round 2: GD Round 3: HR interview Round 4: Technical interview int:so r u exhausted int:oh yes evn im exhausted .. bt evn if its 2 in d morning i expect reasonable answers from u int:so wts AI all about int: so can we shift to C and C++ int: what r global and local variables int: what a macro int: what a router int:hw does a router select d shortest path of communication int:wts d difference b/w circuit switching nd packet switching int:askd me to write a program in assembly langaugue to find d factorial of a number int:write a program in C to accept names nd roll numbers of students as long as d user wnts int:is thr anything else u want to ask us int:im impressed. nice ques. u stdy DBMS/RDBMS/Java nd gt accquainted wid oracle 10g Related Posts: |
