A demonstrable understanding of the windows event model and multi-threaded programming will be essential. • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the TCP/IP stack, including the interaction between the various network layers, and best-practices for network and transport-layer application development. • Experience in C#, .net frameworks 2 and 3.5. XML, schema and webservices (SOAP-based) are an essential requirement. Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts of webservice architectures and best practices. • Have experience in developing, testing and deploying ASP.NET applications under IIS. • Exposure to and an understanding of best practices in multi-platform database techniques.
