Topics you should cover are IP addresses TCP/IP and OSI models GSM and CDMA technologies in detail SS7 signalling Wireless communication (Book Rappaport and Forouzen) Afterwards they made a group of five members each and asked our group to perform an activity (I think it was just to check your team skill) I was the person to give presentation about that activity and at this phase I was a bit sure that I will go through the selection procedure. After that they organized a group discussion (this was a total new type of g.d. for me ) I was selected the group leader. Afterwards there was a technical interview (covering all the above mentioned topics)… hard one of course! And finally I made through the selection procedure of ZTE. Thanks God I have been selected for their MSC operations. |

I m Tasneem, a final year student in Electronics & Communications want to share my ZTE (Chinese Telecom Equipment Vendor) experience with you: There were 22 students, out of which 18 were either 2004,05 or 2003 passouts, I along with 3 others were freshers, Firstly they took a technical test of 100 marks, duration 1 hr: 1. Write all layers of OSI Model and briefly explain them ? - 10 marks There were 10 questions of 3 marks each & other 10 ,2 marks each ,all fill in blanks along with objective type: Some of questions I m mentioning are : 1. Which Modulation is used in CDMA? The technical test went excellent for me,after that it was time for 30 minutes aptitude test? Which had some tricky questions like: 1. Which of the two countries have square flags? After that, it was time for group discussion. (Topic : Is India Booming ) |

Topics you should cover are: IP addresses TCP/IP and OSI models GSM and CDMA technologies in detail SS7 signaling. Wireless communication (Book Rappaport and Forouzen) Afterwards they made a group of five members each and asked our group to perform an activity( I think it was just to check your team skill) I was the person to give presentation about that activity and at this phase I was a bit sure that I will go through the selection procedure After that they organized a group discussion (this was a total new type of GD. for me ) I was selected the group leader.
